How water-resistant is it? It's handled twice over: a water-washed nylon shell and water-resistant zips, on both pieces. A shower on the walk home stays outside. Neither is waterproof, so don't submerge them.

Does the pouch fit other backpacks? Yes. At 11.5H × 20.5W × 7.5D cm it fits most laptop-bag main compartments, so it carries over if you change packs later.
