What's the difference vs the Commuter 20L? Both are anti-theft, both have RFID. The Commuter is a sharper work-tier shape with heavier-duty spring-buckle locking zips and a 15" laptop sleeve. How does the locking zipper actually work? Pull it the normal way and it stays shut, so a casual tug from someone walking past won't open it. To open it yourself, twist the pull in the opposite direction first. There's no code to remember and nothing to unlock, and from the outside it looks like an ordinary zip, which is the point.

Can I padlock the zips? No, the pulls aren't shaped to take a padlock. There is a fabric lip that sits over the zip line, which keeps dirt and dust off the teeth and makes the zip less obvious to get at in the first place.

Does the RFID shielding cover the whole bag? No. The shielding is in the card pocket only. Cards kept in that pocket are protected from contactless skimming, but anything stored elsewhere in the bag isn't, so keep cards and a passport in the shielded pocket.
