The Everyday Sling 7L is the Commuter and Transit shrunk down to something you wear across your body. Same waxed polyester, same structure, so it keeps its shape instead of sagging into a pouch, and the same two locking systems: the main zip is magnetic and releases with a deliberate twist, while the small front pocket's pull carries a spring-gated hook that clips onto an elastic loop. An RFID-shielded card pocket blocks contactless skimming on whatever you keep in it. My daughter bought me the flow everyday back pack & it’s been perfect for me for when I have to go to my boot camp then straight to work this week. I was excited to find out it’s an Aussie brand as we like to support local where we can.
I’ve only just received the bag and haven’t had a chance to properly use it yet, but I wanted to share one small observation. I’m not sure whether it’s intentional or perhaps I’m missing something.
It’s regarding the position of the small glasses tab on the strap. I think it’s a really clever little feature and a great idea. However, on me, it sits right on top of the shoulder, which feels like an unusual and slightly uncomfortable position for glasses to hang. Even when I shorten the strap as much as possible, it only moves slightly towards the front, just below the shoulder, so it still sits quite high.
Personally, I would expect the glasses to hang further towards the front, roughly around where a shirt pocket would sit. Perhaps there’s a reason for the current positioning that I haven’t considered, but I thought I’d mention it as some constructive feedback.
Other than that, my first impression is really positive. I like the bag — it looks well designed & practical. I actually think it deserves to be offered in a few more colours rather than just black.
The only thing missing in my opinion is some thoughtful organising pockets. I bought this bag to replace my Samsonite (the straps went completely flat) and I’m really missing the spots for pens and smaller items. Otherwise, it’s fabulous. It looks great. It’s roomy. Straps are robust. I’m happy.

Solid build and seems to have a lot more space than you think. Definitely good for overnight work travel, if you want to travel lightly
Comfortable fit with a great array of pockets to get everything in. I was hoping it was an open space inside but it has a laptop pocket which does cut down the size of things I can get in there. Still a great back pack.
Great little bag. Has all the protection needed for a cross body bag for traveling. I would like a softer color, the black is very heavy looking especially when traveling in Summer, olive or dark grey, tan maybe. I bought this for my partner he seemed happy with it.

Brilliant bag. Large enough to hold iPad (just) and very well engineered with safety features like the clip that holds a zipper end. Enough compartments to stow various things in a bag that’s still quite small and easy to sling over a shoulder. Looks good too - pretty sleek. I get why the drink holder can be stowed away in its own little zippered compartment. Time will tell how useful it is. Bought it specifically for travel. Quality build, so was impressed with the price. Lower than bags not nearly as good.
