Is the main compartment really sealed? It's weather sealed, so a five-minute downpour or a shower on the walk home won't reach your phone. That isn't the same as waterproof, so don't go swimming with it.

Can I wear it on my back? Yes. The strap adjusts for length and the bag flips round to your back when you're cycling or running for a train, then swings to the front when you need something out of it.

Where do the keys go? On the key hook, which sits on a short lanyard inside. Keys stay clipped rather than rattling around loose with your phone and sunglasses.

What's the difference versus the Urban Sling 4.5L? Capacity, mainly. Urban 4.5L is close to twice the size and takes an 11 inch tablet; this one is essentials-only. Same materials and the same eye for design in both, and both have the back pocket against your body. Choose Flow if you want to leave the backpack behind entirely, Urban if you still need to carry a tablet.

Does it match the rest of the Flow range? Yes, it's the same 420D water-washed nylon as the Flow 22.5L Backpack and the Flow 1.5L Tech Pouch, so the three look like a set when carried together. Plenty of people buy them that way.

Is it an anti-theft bag? Not in the full sense: there are no locking zips and no RFID pocket. The security here is where the pockets sit, with your phone flat against your body rather than facing out. For locking hardware in a sling, the Everyday Sling 7L has magnetic zips and an RFID card pocket.
